It was all a dream.
Cosmic is the brainchild of owners Camille & Julian Haynes. The Haynes’ opened the doors to their first location (Webster / Clear Lake) in Feb 2021 to bring a fresh, new premium ice cream concept to their local community. They opened their second location in the Spring Branch neighborhood of Houston in 2023, and opened their third location in Pearland in 2024. All of Cosmic’s ice creams are made in-house and the flavor creations are inspired by Camille and Julian’s travels, family recipes, childhood memories and customer ideas.
Camille was born and raised in Houston and graduated from Clear Lake High School before earning degrees from the University of Houston (BS Human Nutrition and Foods) and Texas Woman’s University (MS Nutrition). Dietitian starting an ice cream joint? Yup, you read that right.
Julian is a military brat from Maryland and a two time graduate of Howard University (BBA Marketing & MBA). After a 10 year career in oil & gas, Julian left his management position to focus on Cosmic full time.
